A week after laying it and I’m already growing patches of grass. In that case I did not put down top soil or break up the ground and got much quicker and better results and it was less expensive. We needed grass in our back yard for a summer party last year after having a large tree removed. Mix some soil with the seed so birds, wind, and water don’t wash it away. Worked well to reseed an area torn up when our new deck was put in. I had to do it again two days later because it grows really fast. I would recommend this to everyone. When they say fast they mean it. I mixed Fast Grow with Black Beauty Ultra grass seed. But our new place had a rocky mud like pit of a back yard. RIP..
